You’ve signed your purchase agreement for your new home, congratulations!

Now it’s time to begin your financing journey with Pulte Mortgage. From here, we’ll guide you through a few key steps designed to help you move into your new home with confidence and ease.

Step 1: Start Your Loan Process

Once your signed purchase agreement is submitted, you’ll receive an invitation to complete a digital Loan Application. This is where your financing journey begins! Once your application is submitted:

• You’ll be assigned a loan number
• You’ll gain access to your personalized Loan Dashboard
• You’ll schedule an introduction phone call with your Loan Consultant.

Pro Tip: Be on the lookout for a message about scheduling this call! This meeting is important and helps your Loan Consultant understand your goals and match you with the best financing solution for you.

Step 2: Financial Verification and Credit Decision

After your introduction, you’ll begin the approval process. This step helps verify your financial profile and will give you a clearer picture of your buying power. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Submit any additional documentation requested
• Review and verify any details regarding your financial situation
• Receive a credit decision

This part of the process hinges on you responding promptly to your Loan Team and submitting requested information in a timely manner.

Step 3: Get Ready to Close

If your loan is approved and your new home is under construction, it’s time to prepare for the finish line! Because we work so closely with your builder, we will align your loan timeline with your home’s completion date. During this step you may:

• Lock your interest rate
• Submit final items, such as your homeowner’s insurance policy
• Review your Closing Disclosure, which will be delivered at least 3 business days before closing

Step 4: Welcome Home!

The big day has arrived! Your Closing Agent will walk you through the final steps, including what to expect and what to bring to the closing appointment. Once all documentation is signed, you’ll receive your keys and officially become a homeowner!
